I am going to convert my main home desktop from windows to linux. This
will also involve getting a new system unit. My question is what are
the groups recommendations for a reasonably priced video card for that
system. I am looking at a Athlon 2800 or something like it for the
processor and I'd like to get a video card that will keep the
performance of X apps up. I just want to run office type apps and
web-browsing and email, no linux games. Also, is anyone running quicken
under Wine or win4lin or something. Does it work right?
I tried to search the archives as I remember this being asked before,
but I'm having problems with the searcher (See previous post).
