This help wanted ad is about as complicated as my trying to buy these:

http://www-306.ibm.com/chips/techlib/techlib.nsf/products/PowerPC_405EP_Evaluation_Kit

These boards are wonderfully documented and priced attractively.
It was so difficult
to find a distributer for them that we gave up and bought alternatives
at 3x the price because the purchase experience was _so_ much easier.
We thought that if it was that hard to buy the product, then getting
service after the sale would be even harder.

Don't get me wrong. I think highly of IBM. But as a little guy, I couldn't
figure out how to do business with them.

Is it just me, or is a Linux list the wrong place to go fishing for
property specialist? Or did I misread the ad and they really need a
Linux specialist? But that's what I consider the quintessential IBM
experience - respectful bewilderment.
