Well, the connections are just ppp interfaces, so I just list the lock files for the ppp interfaces, grep the logs for those pids, and print the associated name and start time...
Attached is the whoson.pl script I wrote to do this. Warning, PoPToP may have changed some things since I wrote this, so it may need a little tweaking...
