I'm hoping that someone on the list might know what the f**k is going on with my desktop. I'm running RedHat 9 and I'm using KDE as my desktop. I'm not sure when, but I started noticing that all my 'Cancel' and 'OK' buttons on dialogs were reversed.
Normally the order should be from left to right, 'OK' then 'Cancel'. For some strange reason they are showing up in the reverse order for all the dialogs; Firebird, Thunderbird, KDE, etc. I figured that some setting might have gotten hosed, so I searched and upon finding no valid option in the KDE control panel I took some drastic action. I went and blew away all the dot(.) directories that I thought might be even remotely related to KDE. I also took the time to clean up a lot of other directories that I knew were just left over from old software that I had tried. I did this work from a virtual console session after I logged out of KDE. Now I have a brand new environment and the exact same problem. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this. It seems like such a small thing, but it is really driving me nuts because it is backwards of any other system I work on. -Weave
