Yeah, I know. I was trying to keep it short and simple. The installer does contain _some_ source which gets recompiled per kernel. That source makes up the "glue", like Dan (crimsun) said, that ties the binaries to the kernel. -- Timothy A. Chagnon <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
