Just a note about Savage, excellent game. It's sorta like freeciv mixed with a first person shooter. There are 2 teams, the humans and the savages. You join one of the 2 teams. You have a time limit to destroy the other ones stronghold/lair (respectively). One person is the "commander" and uses a screen similar to what you would see in freeciv to create weapon factories, research centers, mine gold/stone with workers, and give orders to the team (like "protect this unit", "attack this position" and such). The rest of the team are in a first person shooter style with a HUD and controls and actually try to complete the missions/orders given them.
As a benefit, we can purchase the game as William stated, natively by downloading the ISO and purchasing a Linux CD key. Lee, I think you would and Chris K. would definitely like it. Check out the screenshots if you can. ----- Original Message ----- From: "William R. Your other choice would to be to purchase a key online and download the ISO, that's what I did. Then you can tell them you are buying the Linux version.
