Tuesday, April 13, the Linux Users Group at NCSU will be participating in the Media Democracy Fair at NCSU. We will have a table setup at the south end of the Freedom of Expression tunnel on the NCSU campus in Raleigh, North Carolina, where we will be running demos on two Linux laptops as well as handing out Linux CDs and talking to people about OSS and Linux. Our table will be setup from 11AM-4PM.
As part of the Media Democracy Fair we will be giving two presentations on the same day, April 13. From 11:00AM-Noon, Heather Heinz and Ed Anderson will be giving a presentation on "Open Source and Switching to Linux". From 3PM-4PM, Tim O'Shea and Adam Mondl will be presenting on "File Sharing between Windows and Linux". The next formal meeting will be Tuesday, April 13 at 7:30 pm in Cox 400 on the NCSU campus.
