Good to know what they use, and I suppose the latest 1.5.X from CVS would be the thing to get, but it confused me since it still had the evolution-exchange connector as a separate module.
I understand the way they are doing their versioning, but I don't think it is too much to ask to make it a little more obvious what code they are referring to when they state "Get the current development snapshot of Evolution 2.0" and "Get the Evolution 2.0 Source Code" on the website. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Lance A. Ximian uses .9x minor minor version numbers on a development version (1.5, for example) to track "betas" and preview versions of software that will soon become a new major version (1.6, 2.0, etc.). --[Lance] Jim Wright wrote: > Kudos on the mirror, but I'd actually already found that...I was > looking for the source code for Evolution 2.0 that they referred to on > the Novell website...I couldn't find anything with a 2.0 in the name. > See the bottom of this page: http://www.novell.com/products/evolution/ > for the reference. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Magnus Hedemark > Sent: Wednesday, May 12, 2004 11:47 AM > To: Triangle Linux Users Group discussion list > Subject: RE: [TriLUG] YAST and Evolution Connector to become open > source > > > On Wed, 12 May 2004, Jim Wright wrote: > > >>The Novell site also says that source is available for 2.0 here: >>http://ftp.ximian.com/ but damned if I can find it. > > > Mirrored. > > http://trilug.org/~chrish/ximian-connector-1.4.7.tar.gz > -- Celebrate The Circle: http://www.celebratethecircle.org/ Carolina Spirit Quest: http://www.carolinaspiritquest.org/ My LiveJournal: http://www.livejournal.com/users/labrown/ GPG Fingerprint: 409B A409 A38D 92BF 15D9 6EEE 9A82 F2AC 69AC 07B9 -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc
