As another data point, I just installed Mandrake 10 (community) on a medium level Dell server with a Perc RAID array (set to mirror two scsi drives). It worked flawlessly. It even found/installed the on-board broadcom NIC's. Very nice.
I've been a RedHat guy for many years now (and played with Mandrake on the desktop for many years too). I'm quite pleased with the current version of Mandrake, especially it's security features. OpenBSD v3.5 on another Dell server worked without any problems as well.
