Incidentally, Dave, I discovered this little "feature" a few years ago with my Earthlink account. BS isn't the only one who wants to protect us from ourselves.
My answer, finally, was to give a little money once a year to the nice folks at No-Ip, and hey, presto! No more inbound ( or outbound ) problem. No-Ip just takes port 25 and redirects it on another, non-blocked port number.
