Hello all,

I've successfully established dial-up configuration with Intrex.net for SuSE
9.0. (The only help on Intrex's site is for RedHat and Slackware). Here's
how I did it:

System: SuSE 9.0 running KDE 3.1 and YAST 2.0 with an external Hayes
compatible serial modem.

1. Open YAST.
2. Choose "Network Devices."
3. Choose "Modems."
[Setup your modem if you haven't already.]
4. Under "Providers" click "Add."
5. Click "Custom Provider."
6. Click "New."
7. Fill out the form with phone #, user name, password.
8. Click "Next" to go to Connection Parameters.
9. Nameservers: 209.42.192.253 & 209.42.192.252
10. Select "Stupid Mode" -- Will not work otherwise.
11. Click "IP Details"
12. Select "Dynamic IP" and "Default Route."
13. Click "OK."
14. Click "Next."
15. Click "Finish."

If you want to add additional access numbers, I think you need to add
additional providers. The KDE dial-up program "KInternet" picks up the YAST
configuration and lets you select from multiple providers.
