Nevermind I got it working. My problem was one of two things:
1. The USB connector was not plugged into the USB/PS2 adapter properly.
2. Or my XF86Config mouse protocol was wrong. It used to read Protocal
"auto" I changed it to "IMPS/2". It seems auto is not very automatic.
