[TriLUG] Developer / Support Position available - Modus Media

Modus Inc. has an opening for a developer/support position.  We are 
looking for someone with good trouble shooting skills, including problem 
solving and deductive analysis.  Some experience in Systems 
Administration is a plus.  Reading code (See language requirements 
below) and sometimes writing bugfixes or new scripts is also required. 
BS in Comp. Sci. or closely realted field required.  Good communication, 
verbal and written, are a must.  Responsibilities that will draw heavily 
on communication skills include updates to bug tracking system and 
training earlier support responders.  Other responsibilities include 
installation, administration, and support of applications.

Anti MS (or any proprietary vendor) persons need not apply, but someone 
who could coherently state OSS benefits and demonstrate Linux and other 
OSS applications and tools could help this company adopt the right 
applications and tools.

to know and learn.  Motivation and problem solving ability are more 
important than experience in any of these areas.
