I think this is why people don't want to use linux. Most people that I know just "want it to work!" without having to look up how to do it. Yes it may be dumbed down but the majority of computer users don't have the time, desire, ability or the combination of the three to figure it out. AGREED but some can not/will not be self-sufficient those are the ones that will annoy the hell out of the linux knowledgeable person very quickly when they can only run linux..
