Hello All, I've decided to sell my trusty laptop of nearly two years in favor of an ultra-portable Sharp laptop (Actius MM20?). If you're interested, please email me off list.
A quick specs run-down: 1500 MHz P4 384 MB RAM 15" (Viewable) XFT Screen (1024x786) DVD/CD-RW combo drive (24X read? maybe faster/8x write/8x re-write) 2 USB Ports (not 2.0) 1 Firewire port (mini) 10/100 Ethernet AC97 Audio (Mic In/Audio Out, front hardware volume control) Soft Modem PCMCIA Type I/II Parallel, PS/2, and VGA-out ports ** It does *not* have a hard drive... I'm keeping it ** The battery is fairly shot, but it works fine under the AC adapter The laptop was custom built with very standard components. It is a fairly large laptop - was meant as a desktop replacement (and did an excellent job... I'm just ready for something very portable). I'm asking somewhere around $550 for it, but am very open to any other offer. I'll include the carrying case and external USB floppy if you want it. This thing has run every distribution of Linux without any problems (well, the expected modem problem... it's a WinModem, but I never used it anyway) - It's gone through cycles of various RedHat releases, Fedora, Debian, and for about the last year, Slackware. Anyway, if no one is interested, I'm going to eBay it :-/ Regards, Aaron Bockover [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc
