Hello,
I've set up a chrooted user "test" (uid=501) on my FC2
box and I'd like to setup sudo for "test" to execute a
script called confbackup.sh
This is how I set it up:
-In the /etc/sudoers file, I add a line like this:
test ALL=/confbkup.sh
However, when I tried to execute the script as "test",
I got this error message "sudo: uid 501 does not exist
in the passwd file. Broken pipe". Chrooted
/etc/passwd file lists "test" with uid=501, and
everything else seems fine to me. I sudo-ed a
regular, un-chrooted user to execute the script and it
worked OK for this user.
I am not sure what I might of missed.
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA,
Tom
