The sad truth. This is what professional marketers deal with day in and day out. Keep in mind that it's more effective to network with real people both in person, on the phone, and through email. If this is your strategy, then the resume requirements change - it becomes more of a spec sheet on yourself. You will get asked for a resume as a formality as you get close to closing your employment deal. Spend 2 hours writing your resume. Ensure there are _no_ mistakes in spelling and grammer. Ensure that it is a fast and easy read. Then go find and use your network to convince someone that you will increase their sales or (not as effective) you will reduce their costs. -- Mike Moving forward in pushing back the envelope of the corporate paradigm. -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc
