I have a disk with problems that's running on an EIDE setup. The disk
works fine on another machine but I don't know for sure that this other
machine is running EIDE or IDE (it has EIDE connectors and cables).
I'd like to know if the problem is to do with the EIDE or something else.

I've looked on google, with hdparm and in /proc/ide/... and haven't found
anything helpful.

Thanks Joe
