Trilugers,

I'll have the Open Sourced KuroBox and a Linkstation NSLU2 (unslung) with me at the
Thursday meeting.

Along with performing as a SOHO NAS device, some of the applications ported to these
little appliances so far:

- NFS (v2, v3) server
- CVS server
- iTunes server
- MP3 streaming server (seems audio streaming is a big one here)
- dedicated web server

And yes, ssh (dropbear), tcpwrappers, portmapper, & sudo packages have been built as
well, to be consistent with Thursday's topic !

There are many other packages being ported to these appliances. Thought TriLUG
community might be interested.

Cheers de Mark W4CHL
PS - The Revogear folks selling the KuroBox for $160 are aiming to please, ordered it
on Friday and it got here on a Monday ! No relationship or kickbacks in place, just
relating good experience acquiring a Linux Appliance.
