Ever see that episode of the Simpsons where Homer cuts out of work... someone asks him "aren't you supposed to be at work?" And he replies "I got someone to cover for me". Then they show Homer's desk at the nuclear power plant, with a brick tied on to a handle on the control panel.
I can never keep a straight face now when someone says they got someone to cover for them.
