I have tried to use the WiFi service at the Saucer without much luck. I'm wondering if one needs to provide them with your WiFi card's MAC address in order to use their network.

Either that, or I had had one too many beers before I tried to connect to it and was technologically impaired as a result!

No one has mentioned Flying Saucer yet... don't they have wi-fi, not to mention
the best beer wall in town??

Cafe Cyclo in Cameron Village is nice and cozy. They don't have a big
beer selection, but they do have lots of other drinks (both alcoholic
and not -- all of which are excellent). It has big couches, tables,
bar, and seats outside.
Hibernian on Glenwood in Raleigh (haven't been to the Cary one) is very
much a pub. Often loud and smokey, pretty good beer selection, though.
Helios on Glenwood has the cozy coffee shop feel and a good beer selection.

All of them have free wi-fi.

any suggestions?

trying to stay in cary but willing to try raleigh locations.

thanks,
stan
