Does anyone know of a way to get cdrecord to show some sort of text-based burn progress meter? Something along the lines of the hash marks that our beloved rpm and scp, among other things, spew forth. I'm not coming up with much from manpages or googling. I'd love for it not to depend on Tk or Qt or any other graphic or quasi-graphic toolkit.
