For ntfs partitions, there's a utility called ntfsresize that does the trick. I believe it's included in Mandrake installs, but I'm not sure. Mandrake isn't my cup of tea. I believe it is also on Knoppix. For fat partitions, I like using GNU Parted. It's also in Knoppix. Of course there's always fips, but I dont recommend it for more than nostalgic reasons. :)

I am off to sunny, warm Alaska to teach a course, and all of the systems in the training room are running Windows (2000 I think). I need to be able to install Mandrake 10 on those servers.

Is there a utility out there to repartition a Windows drive to allow for enough space for a Linux partition? FOSS solutions preferred.

P.S. The systems have lots of free disk space.
