As Sam and Joel both alluded to, if it crashed during Memtest it's
probably not the fault of the memory. Memtest's job is to test RAM, and
if it's the RAM's fault, it'll simply report it in a very concise and
obvious manner. If it's failing while you run memtest, it's likely a
more basic hardware issue, ala motherboard, processor, or power.
Let us know what you come up with, inquiring minds want to know and all. :)
