As an interminable email hoarder, the second greatest thing that happened to me over the past year is Gmail. The greatest thing is the Google Desktop Search, so now I can effectively use the 2GB+ of archived email on my laptop.
And you'd be surprised how quickly you can get to 2GB of email when every email has a 1-5MB DOC/XLS/PPT attachment...
