This is kind of cool:

It is the northern terminus of the Alaskan Highway at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. You can follow the Alaska pipeline South. I'd like it if the resolution were a bit higher. Until the project is finished to bring fiber optic lines to the south pole I (think) that you are also seeing the end of the longest of long-haul fiber pulls (that is terrestrial, not under the ocean).
