I was scheduled to be the Mandrake advocate tonight and was really looking forward to the debate (and the voting... and the pizza), but alas, family duties will keep me from attending.
Mandrake is a great distribution - easy to install, rapidly updated, secure, and easily supported. The two most unique features of Mandrake are Mandrake Club (a pay for user support group that is a "must-have" for businesses running Mandrake) and MSEC (a general security script that lets you lock your box down with the flip of a switch - or open it wide - or various levels in between [I run at level 4]). Mandriva (formerly Mandrake - but I just hate the new name): http://www1.mandrivalinux.com/en-us/ Mandriva Linux Users Club $66/year for individuals, $12/month for businesses http://www.mandrivalinux.com/en/club/ MSEC: http://www.geek-cave.com/linux/msec/ ====== I hope one of our many Mandrake users can step into tonight and be an Advocate for this great distribution!
