Hello everyone, I'm just beginning with Linux, finally got up the courage to leave Windows, and I need some help.

Alan,
I am fairly new also. I did a lot of reading and found that the Debian builds were the most solid and stable. Although they can be a bit quwerky setting up, once you have it,, it is solid.

I personally chose Libranet www.libranet.com and found ver 2.8.1 very nice. The adminmenu is slick and the install went perfectly. I encourage you to try it. Let me know if you do. I will assist as far as my brain allows. Also, Libranet has a very good chat room with fantastic folks who have helped me a lot.

Again, Let me know if I can help.
