Steve Jobs DID announce at the Apple Developer Conference today that
Apple is switching from powerPC to Intel chips. Developers can get
IntelMacs now, the first product will be out in about a year, and the
transition will be complete by sometime in 2007.
It should be interesting to see what this announcement does to Apple,
Intel, and IBM stock.
BoSox, Deep Throat, now this, maybe the Cubs will turn it around and
win the World Series this year.
My predictions are:
Apple stock will rise sharply.
Intel stock will rise slightly.
IBM stock will be unaffected.
Mac devotees will commit mass suicide.
