Just to tell the other side... I live in an area of the triangle (east, Zebulon)... DSL is all that's available. Bellsouth is good, albeit expensive, but it seems to be reliable. And their premium 3mbit package includes a static IP and doesn't forbid servers... so if that's the direction you wanna go, feel free.
I've never have cable inet, so I can't compare them, but I've been happy with DSL. -- Jason Faulkner ------------------------ OldOs.org Owner/Admin / http://oldos.org / [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------ Certified INGOTS Gold Assessor Trainer / http://www.theingots.org ------------------------ OpenOffice.org Marketing Volunteer / [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc
