Best - Guinness? <G>

I know, it's an acquired taste. Don't seem to have enough Irish blood
in me. My tastes in beers/ales and related beverages are pretty
eclectic and trend towards the darker kinds, but Guinness always
seemed to me as if the opposite of charcoal filtering.

I seem to recall an episode of Ballykissangel in which Fitzgerald's
had stopped carrying Guinness because it wasn't selling well enough,
even though one of the characters complained that he couldn't get his
"National drink!"

I don't care too much for the Belgian lambic's either. I guess in
both cases it's more of a mouth feel than a taste thing.
