  Making your own replacement batteries is a great topic to speculate 
on but I would like to add that the combination of wrong battery type, 
wrong charger type or a miswired connection could cause the failure of 
the laptop or a fire to occur. Please be aware that this combination is 
not a toy and a simple mistake might cause a serious problem.
