Well what I did was a fairly straightforward hack to mb2md to not create the maildirs but just use the existing ones. It in turn does use formail (or reformail) along with a perl script called addtomaildir which handles delivering a single email. The only glitch I had was that I botched changing the resulting permissions to give access to dovecot. When I looked at my email with Thunderbird, dovecot told it that the email was there but served up blank info for TBird's e-mail list. When I fixed the permissions, I couldn't figure out how to get TBird to refresh the list, but I could still click on the list items and see the email contents, so I could delete all the spam emails. I brought dovecot down and made sure that I got the permissions correct before turning it back on again after getting $wifes email. So I think that everything is hunkey dorey now. -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc
