I've got some email issues and I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting.
Here's what's going on (and it may even be user error!).

I've been using Mozilla Mail for a long time to connect to my email server
(imap). The past few days it's been timing out connecting to the server. I've
tried a couple of other email clients and they've also timed out.

Something just occured to me to check the pop connection. That's fine
(although not using SSL which I had been using with imap). Using imap wouldn't
work whether it's secure or not. So what do I need to check for errors? Is
there a log somewhere where I can get more info?
