[TriLUG] Media-oriented distributions

Does anyone know of any linux distros or software for embedded systems 
that play audio/video (in the 700-800MHz range)? Should work with a 
touchscreen. If not, I can write something - I've been working on this 
myself but I lost the code twice, both to disk crashes. The prettier the 
better, I want all 8" of the touchscreen to go to good use in boosting 
my ego ;)
