RTP Electronics Recycling Day

[EMAIL PROTECTED] is a committee of the RTP Owners and Tenants
Association focusing on environmental issues facing RTP companies.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] is pleased to host this event in partnership with the
Solid Waste Divisions from the City of Durham, and Orange, Wake, and
Durham counties. Once again, [EMAIL PROTECTED] is teaming with Kramden
Institute, Inc, a charitable not for profit, that refurbishes
computers for less advantaged kids in the Triangle.

What:  Donate all unneeded electronics gear and help the Environment!

When:  September 28, 2005 -- 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Rain date October 5,
2005 – 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM )

Where:  Old EPA Parking Lot , 86 T.W. Alexander Drive, Corner of Hwy.
54 & T.W. Alexander Drive in RTP

How:  Download and bring a completed Environment@ RTP Recycle Form
from www.environmentrtp.org/NewsEvents.html

The following materials will be accepted:

• Computer systems/monitors/peripherals (limit 3 systems per person)

• Televisions 27" or less (no consoles)

• Mercury thermometers/thermostats

• Stereo/audio equipment

• Desktop copiers/faxes

• Cell phones

• VCRs or DVD players

Items that will NOT be accepted include:

• Speakers larger than 18" per side

• Televisions larger than 27"

• Smoke Detectors

• Appliances

• Office equipment (e.g. large copiers)

• Other non-residential equipment

• All other household hazardous waste
