-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Kind of following up on the same sort of thing.... I had a problem copying to a 512MB USB stick formatted vfat. I could easily copy files over but could only get about 150MB out of the 512MB. Reformatting the stick did nothing. It was then I dredge some old DOS memories up...
I was copying to the root directory and with DOS you can only hold a certain number of files in the root. As soon as I starting copying to a subdirectory I could fill the stick up. Probably well known to everyone here but it took me a couple of days to figure out what was going. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDS9O0/Bk6xSk49AoRAk/4AKD2rbc/ej9sseYIHCgmaVKwY44SFgCguidy O80Dr3BCvffwVMq8B73B+4o= =9hyS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/
