I'm at the end of my rope here and just can't figure this one out.

I have an old cpq proliant server with 8 (9GB) drives in it (no RAID
controller).
I'm installing SLES9 (actually Novell OES) on this server. I have setup the
first
drive to hold a 500MB /boot and a 1GB swap partition.

The final 7 drives I would like to setup in a software RAID. This RAID would
then contain an EVMS volume (required for NSS) for / and some free space
to be used in a Novell NSS volume. I can create the partions with the type
Linux RAID and create the RAID /dev/md0. However, I cannot figure out how
to create the EVMS volume using a portion of the RAID.

I'm sure I'm missing something simple here, but the google searches and the
Novell Docs, just aren't helping at this point.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
