I was recently thinking about setting up a development server with similar hardware...but decided to go with a vps instead... http://www.tektonic.net/vds.php?op=budget_plans Their basic plan is $15/month, with a static IP...which is about what you would spend in energy costs keeping that P2 up and running 24/7. And my wife doesn't complain about noisy hardware in some closet.
