Ah, who could forget the IBM 1620?  Instead of actually calculating
math it would look up results in tables stored in memory.  This gem
was later nicknamed the CADET ("Can't Add, Doesn't Even Try").

And growing up IBM stood for "I've Been Moved" (Washington D.C. to
Tucson in our case).
