Just curious does windows still lock when starting the video if you first boot the Linux then reboot to Windows (warm boot vs cold boot)?
I had a problem where Windows would blue screen on a cold boot, but if I first boot to Linux then rebooted into windows it worked fine. Windows need Linux to initialize the cards for it before it could use them.
