here's what i sent out to our group this morning regarding agenda.  we display the unit under test on the big projector screen and have a wireless router connected to the DS3 for 45 Mbps Internet:

Happy New Year!  It has been a while since our last meeting due to the holidays.  I have a proposal to the group for our agenda:

Installation of Ubuntu

Given no objection from the others, we'll go through the installation of Ubuntu and go slow enough to take notes so each of us can repeat the process.

Following installation, I'd like to move into the topics of application configuration for each of the major applications necessary to create a drop in replacement for Microsoft Small Business Server.  The first application may be Apache so each of us will acquire the technical skills necessary to set up a web server on Linux.  We may then move into email server, dns, dhcp, proxy and terminal server.

Whadaya think?  Any objections/suggestions/further discussion?

some of the folks from the old rhce study group plus some others now have a

Sounds interesting but the description is a bit vague. Is there a
subject for each meeting? Do folks bring their own computers?
