looking for an easy answer, and there probably isn't one. But I entered
"linux wireless adapter" as a Google search and came up with a few good
hits:
http://www.utexas.edu/its/wireless/install/config_linux.html is a
"Wireless Home Networking Kit" with pointers to lots of other places.
http://www.linuxplanet.com/linuxplanet/tutorials/5728/1/ is "Connecting
to a Wireless LAN with Linux, Part 1"
There are a lot of other hits that Google returns of course.
