The 'B' and the 'N' key on a friends toshiba laptop are not working. I
understand that it doesn't like the local sweet tea that everybody is
so fond of.

She has tried to repair it by drying it with a hair dryer, and has
even been able to pop off the key caps to get to the contacts.

Has anybody tried using a solvent ( say from radio shack) on a laptop? Will
it do further damage? Are there shops to repair these problems?

Any other suggestions?
