Better yet -- go to your local hardware store and get an Ez-Out bit.

Use a sharp knife - and a bit of pressure - to try and loosen the stripped screws. You'll actually have to have the tip of the knife cut into the soft metal of the screw. In my younger days I used this for many an old client machine that had been abused by their owners (or former owners). I always used to pull a drill out and put it on my desk - "The final solution..." Though thankfully I never had to go that route.
