Hey Joe,
Check out Professional C++ by Solter and Kleper. It was printed
last year, so it's fairly recent, and the first section of the book
focuses more heavily on OO design than coding details - then it goes
into greater detail on the coding in the rest of the book. They
probably have it at your school's library (NCSU has an online e-book
version available if you have access to their library).
