I agree - I've set up several nforce mainboards, and haven't had any issues
with them

Is there any particular reason you're saying that? I use an nForce3 board
in my MythTV system (FC4) and it works just fine. Additionally, many
"workstation" vendors such as Sun and HP use nvidia chipsets in their
systems which generally also 'just work'.
