On the support front I've got to give a +1 to NetApp whenever you get around to talking with them. Also of note their entire worldwide support staff will be located in RTP soon.
Also if you do decide to go with iSCSI they would probably be the vendor of choice. I don't know anything about their direct attached stuff if you decide to play it safe. It may be wise to stick with EMC for that even though they are slow and expensive. On 7/18/06, Lee Fickenscher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

Were leaning towards ISCSI, My comment is more business related than technical. EMC called me (yes, they called me, not me calling them) four times to set up meetings to discuss how they could possibly fit into our business. No one showed up for any of the four separate meetings they scheduled. Considering most companies spend more energy trying to get your money than providing service after they've gotten your money, I'm pretty sure I would use just about any option other than EMC. -Lee -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/
