He's the FSF lawyer who's represented us (==GPL software movement) at the Supreme Court recently.

He gave a talk a couple of years ago to a joint TriLUG/NCSA meeting organised by Rob Day and held at the School of Sci and Math in Durham.

Can't find it. He mentioned his personal webserver at his talk, which he offers as evidence to anyone who thinks you need big hardware to do anything useful. I remember looking up his webpage after the talk and seeing the same speil there and a description of the hardware and linux setup.

My firewall/router/squid/dhcp/samba server at home is a 75MHz machine with 2 ISA 10Mbps NICs, 1 100Mbps PIC NIC and 32M memory connected to my DSL box.
