Comprends, except I'd rather not monkey around with wiring up connectors and jacks. I can't put anything into the walls, so I was looking for a plug&play solution with standard parts (e.g., Cat-5 with the right connectors already on) rather than having to construct my own. Between yours and Joe's messages I should hopefully get something going. Sounds as though my basic flow is correct, it's just the fiddly bits in the implementation that need to get solved. - -- #ken P-)} Ken Coar, Sanagendamgagwedweinini http://Ken.Coar.Org/ Author, developer, opinionist http://Apache-Server.Com/ "Millennium hand and shrimp!" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBRPRyMZrNPMCpn3XdAQIvFAQAtwaQuIDeXpRWN7zi1gkr6D1WoqBj5LWK FbFpOrGsN/emV103ewdg3GQjIlBONi5qGtCq/eTp6qUcr+0uIzhEeKcfZHp88u+g rr6WXJenL3NfGHFmPH3dDSzMmlqSROQX4C/5PjXeT1PILomP6a1NpFaq4AOuHtQd iSt28nclM2A= =lDlE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/
